Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of Service

Oven Cleaning Pro Wellington provides professional oven and appliance cleaning services within Wellington and surrounding suburbs. Services include oven cleaning, rangehood cleaning, stove top cleaning, and related kitchen appliance cleaning as agreed at the time of booking.

2. Bookings and Access

Customers are responsible for ensuring clear and safe access to the property at the agreed time. The oven and surrounding area must be accessible, cool, and free of items before the technician arrives. Power and water must be available on-site.

If access is not possible upon arrival, the booking may be cancelled or rescheduled at the company’s discretion and a call-out fee may apply.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are quoted in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of GST (unless otherwise stated). Payment is by invoice, issued after the completion of the service, and is due within the payment period specified on the invoice (usually 7 days).

If paid parking is required at or near the property, any parking fees will be added to the customer’s invoice.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made at least 24 hours in advance are free of charge. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment, or where the technician is unable to gain access, may incur a cancellation fee. Exceptional circumstances will always be considered fairly.

5. Liability and Limitations

While every care is taken during cleaning, Oven Cleaning Pro Wellington is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage, defects, or wear and tear.

  • Damage resulting from poor installation, faulty components, or previously weakened surfaces.

  • Loss or damage beyond the reasonable control of the technician.

Technicians will exercise all reasonable skill and care in providing the service, but results may vary depending on the appliance’s age and condition.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must ensure:

  • The appliance is disconnected or safe to clean where necessary.

  • Adequate lighting, power, and water are available.

  • Pets and children are kept clear of the work area during cleaning.

Failure to meet these conditions may result in delays or rescheduling at the customer’s expense.

7. Health and Safety

All cleaning products used are selected for professional use and are safe when handled correctly. Technicians follow safety procedures at all times and may refuse service if conditions are unsafe or unsanitary.

8. Privacy and Data

Oven Cleaning Pro Wellington collects personal information (such as name, contact details, and address) to manage bookings, provide services, and send cleaning reminders. We comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. Personal details are stored securely and will never be shared with third parties except as required by law or for administrative purposes (e.g. invoicing systems or email communications).
